Today I'm giving blood to the Armed Services Blood Program. It's the military version of Red Cross. Instead of going to the general population the blood goes only to our service members and their family.
If you give blood now Thank You. If you don't, give it a thought. No matter how you donate, or who you donate to, it's a great thing to do. And it really doesn't hurt...too much! Give it a thought.

I'm scheduled to give on the 31st. Been giving often as I can since I was 18.

I wish I could give blood :( I'm not allowed to though. I've tried and they refuse me every time...I'm too small, I carry mono (gah) and I have graves disease. Sooooo :( BUT my momma is a lifelong donor and I even have a blanket from CFL (commit for life) because she's given so much :)
ReplyDeleteWe just popped your blog onto the Armed Services Blood Program's facebook page with a giant thank you. Great blog.
