Honest Scrappy!

This is my first award! Oh my! I feel so proud!

Mrs. Not-so-Domesticated
at I now pronouce you husband, wife, and two crazy dogs bestowed this lovely award upon my head.

Here are the rules:

The honorees are to:

A) first list 10 honest things about yourself - and make it interesting, even if you have to dig deep!

B) pass the award on to bloggers that you feel embody the spirit of the Honest Scrap.

1.) I dislike liars. By dislike I mean cannot stand. Yet I married a guy that can lie with the best of them. He really is quite good. He does it for his own amusement. Lying because you aren't brave enough to tell the truth...not OK. Seriously.

2.) I am way afraid of failure. I will purposely avoid doing something because I think that I might not accomplish it. Or will be rejected. It comes from my inner perfectionist.

3.) I am probably the most unsympathetic person out there when you are the cause of your own problems. It won't affect if I like you or not, but if your husband leaves you because you slept with his best friend...too bad. You did the deed. Now if he leaves you because HE slept with your best friend that's another story.

4.) I was cheerleader. Yes I admit it. I jumped around and made a fool out of myself in public. WAY FUN! I even coached for a few years. I loved teaching my girls that there is more to life than the way you look. Although trying to teach girls that speak English as a second language to shout things is not as easy as it looks.

5.) I like to cook. And serve. I would happily be a waitress for the rest of my life. I am good at my job. I miss taking people's orders and yelling at cooks and saying please and thank you to them when I get my food.

6.) I can't follow a recipe to save my life. I'm sort of a throw it in and eyeball it type girl. Worst case scenario it kills you. But most of the time it turns out decently.

7.) I do not have a credit card. Ok let me correct myself...I have one but have only used it maybe twice a year ago. I am so scared to put myself or my husband in debt that we are quite a cash only couple.

8.) When I came to Germany I didn't have a military "no fee" passport because no one ever told me I needed one. I had them stamp my tourist passport. I now have little panicky moments about crossing any country's boundries because I don't want to get arrested. My husband tells me I'm just nervous. That's what he says until I am detained at the border O_O.

9.) I don't like chocolate and peanut butter together. I'm not crazy about them apart either. My sister's used to tell me this meant I wasn't really a girl.

10.) I have an odd little fear of condiments. Yup, I said it. Ketchup and mustard freak me out just a little bit. I don't eat them. I hate the smell. It makes me want to vomit. Yuck.

I would totally pass this on but have limited bloggy friend. =D Maybe sometime in the future! But thank you Mrs. Not-So-Domesticated. You made my day!

  1. I still think you've not quite normal (because of the PB and chocolate thing, and other stuff too!) but have met other supposed females who feel at least you're not the only crazy one who doesn't enjoy the amzing, comforting, smoothness of this yummy delight.

Does the condiment thing have anything to do with texture? weird.

  2. I dunno about the texture in your mouth since I can remember eating ketchup once and it was disturbing enough that I didn't finish the burger once I got a bite. But It glops and has that gross watery stuff and blech. Nicks dad will squirt way to much ketchup onto anything directly in front of my face since he knows it bothers me.

  3. I get very nervous at borders too...I don't know why! And I have to disagree about the chocolate and peanut butter...its pretty much one of the best combinations ever. Thanks for playing along!

  4. Borders are scary! All those people with guns. This from a girl that lives on a military base. =D
